Tournament Rules

›All games are played under standard youth baseball rules unless otherwise noted in these tournament rules.

›The Tournament Director's decisions are final on all matters not covered by these rules.

›All teams must be registered and paid in full prior to the start of tournament play.

›Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 2 games.

›Bracket format and pool play assignments will be determined by the Tournament Director based on the number of registered teams.

›Game times are subject to change. Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled game time.

›Home team is determined by a coin flip for pool play. Higher seed is home team in bracket play.

›All players must be on the official team roster submitted at registration.

›Players may only play for one team throughout the tournament.

›Age divisions are based on the player's age as of April 30, 2026.

›Coaches must provide valid proof of age (birth certificate or official league document) if requested by tournament staff.

›All-Star Division: Participation is limited to 2026 Recreational League All-Star teams only. Travel or select/club teams are not eligible for the All-Star division.

›Standard Divisions (6U–14U): Open to all recreational and select teams within the appropriate age bracket.

›Illegal player use will result in immediate forfeiture of the game in which the illegal player participated. Repeat violations may result in tournament disqualification.

›Regulation game length: 6 innings for 9U and above; 5 innings for 8U and below. Games may end early due to run rule or time limit.

›Time limit: 1 hour 15 minutes for all games. No new inning starts after the time limit expires. Games in progress at the time limit will be completed.

›Run Rule: 15 runs after 3 innings, 12 runs after 4 innings, 10 runs after 5 innings.

›In the event of a tie after regulation, one (1) extra inning will be played using the international tie-breaker rule (last out placed on second base). If still tied, the game is recorded as a tie for pool play. Bracket play: additional tie-breaker innings until a winner is determined.

›Coaches must exchange lineup cards with the opposing team and the umpire before each game.

›Protests must be submitted to the Tournament Director immediately at the time of the disputed play, before the next pitch. A $50 protest fee is required. Fee is refunded if the protest is upheld.

›Pitch counts and mandatory rest periods follow USA Baseball guidelines for the applicable age group.

›8U and below: Coach-pitch or machine-pitch format per division rules. No pitch count required.

›9U–10U: Maximum 75 pitches per day. 1–20 pitches = 0 days rest; 21–40 = 1 day rest; 41–60 = 2 days rest; 61+ = 3 days rest.

›11U–12U: Maximum 85 pitches per day. Same rest requirements as 9U–10U up to 60 pitches; 61–85 = 3 days rest.

›13U–14U: Maximum 95 pitches per day. 1–20 = 0 days rest; 21–45 = 1 day rest; 46–70 = 2 days rest; 71+ = 3 days rest.

›A pitcher removed from pitching may not return to pitch in the same game.

›Catchers who catch 4 or more innings may not pitch on the same day. Catching 3 innings or fewer does not restrict pitching eligibility.

›Softball divisions: No pitch count restrictions. Standard softball pitching rules apply.

›Continuous batting order is permitted. If used, all players bat. Free substitution is allowed on defense.

›Designated Hitter (DH) is allowed.

›If a player is injured and cannot bat when their turn comes, they are skipped without penalty.

›10U and below: free defensive substitution. Players removed from batting order may not return.

›Bat certification: All bats must comply with the governing body standards for the division (USA Baseball, USSSA, ASA/USA Softball). Wood bats are always permitted.

›Jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, must be removed before play. Medical alert jewelry must be taped.

›All coaches, players, and spectators are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times.

›Umpires have full authority to eject any player, coach, or spectator for unsportsmanlike conduct, arguing balls and strikes, or threatening behavior.

›An ejected player or coach must leave the facility immediately and is suspended for the next game. Failure to leave may result in forfeiture.

›Profanity directed at umpires, opposing players, or spectators will not be tolerated.

›The Tournament Director reserves the right to remove any team from the tournament for repeated conduct violations.

›Alcohol, tobacco, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on all playing fields and dugouts.

›Slide or avoid contact rule is in effect at all bases. Runners who make intentional contact may be called out at the umpire's discretion.

›The Tournament Director reserves the right to modify the schedule, shorten games, or cancel rounds due to weather or field conditions.

›In the event of lightning, all players must leave the field immediately. Play resumes only after 30 minutes with no lightning observed.

›If a game is called due to weather before it is deemed official (3 innings complete for 5-inning games; 4 innings for 6-inning games), it will be replayed from the beginning if time permits, or the score will revert to the last completed inning.

›Entry fees are non-refundable once the tournament has begun. If the tournament is cancelled before any games are played, a partial refund may be issued at the Tournament Director's discretion.

›Championship and runner-up trophies/medals will be awarded in each division and the All-Star Division.

›Tournament MVP and All-Tournament team selections may be made at the Tournament Director's discretion.

›Awards will be presented immediately following the championship game in each division.
